Community Work
“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”Our institution believes in reaching the unreach.The college organises community work in the NGO ‘Navjeevan Center’ which works for the rehabilitation of children of commercial sex worker.Our students conduct lessons for children and also organize various activities for them.
Visits
Visits become a part of essential activity for B.Ed students.The college organizes various activities to provide direct learning experience for the students.The incharge makes arrangement in the time table and conduct various visit to create awareness and develop humane feeling of like deaf and mute school, Special School, shelter for the destitute.The visits are also organized to enhance students contextual learning like visit to BSE, Discovery of India and Science Center.
Extension
The college takes up extension activity offered by the Department of Life Long Learning and Extension.The students select various projects like career project,population education club,information technology project,status of women survey and National Institute of Open Schooling. Students are oriented about the different projects and they select the projects according to their interest.They contribute 120 hours towards the project and are awarded 10 marks from the university.
